“Music much like visual art is a world of ideas and imagery that only exist once called upon.
These visuals represent the culmination of nearly 3000 images, spanning the length of a 40 minute musical journey that takes the listener throughout the the known universe, part of the unknown universe, the metaverse, the subconscious all the way up through the back rooms of liminal spaces and beyond. The music provides a foundation and a strong framework for material, in conjunction with conversations with the musician. We were able to sort of ideate into concepts based on the artist’s wish to ‘avoid pointing the camera at reality’. That combined with the inherent nature of computer rendering place the work squarely in web3.0 territory. Most of the visuals were made using artificial intelligence computing, with the exception of two – these couple of songs early in the album had underlying textures and specific references that called into question our interaction with technology (and reality in general) and so rather than ‘tell’ the audience, we decided to take this opportunity to show them instead. Please sit back and enjoy Quarantine Heartthrob - your mind transplant is now complete, thank you.” - THNDRTHF

A look inside the seemingly unlimited house of a devout individual, as we descend into the depths we find there may be some laundry that needs washed. The viewer is transported through the backrooms, into liminal spaces, where the subconscious is made conscious and vice-versa.
An apocalyptic 3D ode to "Salad Fingers" by David Firth through the manic filter of Alex Jones ranting about the necessity of consuming his neighbors for nutrition in the case of emergency. He seems a little too enthusiastic about it in my opinion...
